3-30-2010: MMS Grippers

3-30-2010,  Tuesday


Strength was mostly all back today.  Had a spat of overtraining with various workouts and real work stuff. 

-Trainer-X5, #1X3, #2X1

-146lb #3X1

-160lb #3X1: Solid grinding close.  Knew it would be an okay day.

-169lb Super Elite-MISS: By about 1/16″.  Just a bad set then.

-169lb Super Elite-X1: That’s more like it! 

-T7-MISS: By about 1/8″.

-Hard #3.5-MISS: By about 3/16″.

    Was this a test workout or are you done Aaron’s program and have gone back to your own? Strong closes nonetheless.

    I’ve finished Aaron’s program and it wasn’t what I needed recovery-wise, but it’s superb and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to smash the hell out of their goal gripper. I have too much other training going on to give it the attention it really deserves right now.
