1-13-11: MMS Grippers

This workout was done at a leisurely pace – over 3.5 hours.  No chalk used, which is not at all how I like to do my gripper workouts.  But I couldn’t have chalk where I was doing this workout so I made do.  Ended up with a total of 22 reps on my 160lb #3 righty.  That’s a volume PR with no chalk.

It’s been good for me to do some workouts without chalk though to re-familiarize myself with the slight differences in technique involved between a chalked MMS close and an unchalked gripper close.  When I do go back to gripper workouts with chalk – I have a feeling it will allow me to close some heavier grippers again.
