*Overall Notes: Been a long time since I’ve trained hub lifting too. All things pinch are often neglected by me since I don’t tend to experience much in the way of gains no matter how often or hard I train it. Not bad lefty though and the pulls were pretty controlled. Righty needs a lot of work. This event will probably factor into the KC Qualifier II in May.
-50 pulled about 3″-right hand, -MISS-left hand. Been a long time also for the Blob! This is about what I expected and it always takes me a while to work up to lifting the Blob since it took me so long to train to lift it in the first place.
-50 pulled to mid-shin-right hand! Nice! Got it on video.
-50 pulled about 1″-right hand, -MISS-left hand. Almost broke the ground lefty. Hands are really trashed now.
*Overall Notes: Very surprised that I pulled the Blob as high as I did today. Not a super strong pull as you’ll see if you watch the video. But the Blob took me so long to get strong enough to lift it in the first place. Only have about 2 months to get strong enough to mow through the 50 pound Blob at a contest.
*Overall Notes: Just did a few pulls to finish up the workout with a bit more thick bar work. Loaded the handle with 10s so the pull stroke is longer. My max pull on this handle last year was 152 pounds-righty. Somewhere around 140 pounds lefty. Not going to max out on it – or at least I don’t PLAN on maxing out on it soon.
