Open Invite to a Grip Contest on May 14th: KC Qualifier II

KC QUALIFIER II

This contest is a Midwest Qualifier for the National Grip Championships in Ohio – in July.

May 14th, 2011.  Gladstone, Missouri.  Anyone who’s ever thought about entering a grip contest should sign up now and compete.  There will be instruction given in every grip event that will be featured that day.  Before each event there will be at least one person showing the correct technique to the gathered competitors and to the crowd as well.

For anyone who relies on above average grip strength – whether in your day-to-day life, in your job (law-enforcement officers and corrections officers and firefighters all spring to mind), or for your chosen sport – this grip contest could be the start of something very helpful for you.  Nothing jumpstarts a grip training program as well as competing in a grip contest first and getting all the hands-on help and advice/technique tips, etc. that come with having experienced competitors that are truly interested in helping others get started – and more importantly – get stronger!

This contest has some of the standard events and others that are unique and will be entertaining to watch.  The entry fee is very low – $15.  Considering that food will be served after the contest, $15 is extremely reasonable.

Having a strong grip is helpful in many ways.  It might save your life one of these days.  Think about it!  Then sign up.  And have a great time in Gladstone, Missouri.

There will also be a professional armwrestling table (and at least 3 elite armwrestlers in attendance) set up and ready for instruction in the fine art of armwrestling.  That might be worth the trip for a lot of guys.
