4-5-11: Mouse Pinch-48mm

4-5-11, Tuesday


 -10 reps total with 138lbs – while standing on 8″ blocks – in 8 minutes and 30 seconds. 

All reps pulled to lockout.  Rep breakdown looked like this: 2, 1, 3, 1, 2, 1.  That weight is about 80% of my 1-rep max on this 2HP setup.  I struggled to get 2 and 3 reps.  I am a terrible “repper” when it comes to pinch strength.  Adam Glass has told me to work on getting more volume at whatever weight tests well.  So I’m doing exactly that.  I ran out of time otherwise I would’ve continued until I wasn’t able to even get singles with that weight.  As low as the weight was, I still had a bit of difficulty getting even a single pull if I didn’t wait longer than my body felt was necessary.
