Welcome to The 2nd ARNI Strength Equipment Raffle!

Here’s the direct link to the Action for Rehabilitation from Neurological Injury raffle:

Directly off the ARNI Trust website:

In 2009, Mark Robinson (our supporter in Durham, UK) came up with an excellent idea. Knowing that ARNI is very much concernedwith finding innovative ways of facilitating stroke survivors to perform vital strength training (stroke not only weakens but actually altersthe nature of the muscle fibres), he thought: why not approach all of the strength equipment manufacturers and experts that he knows andask them to donate items for an ARNI Raffle? The Raffle in 2009 worked out very well, and we raised over £600, This was spent on items like mirror boxes, Neurogrippers, stroke rehab manuals and other items of kit that we sent directly to stroke survivors who needed them over a 4 month period. Now Mark is doing it again and this time we hope to raise enough funds to purchase specialist hand function evaluation and rehabilitation kits.

THE 2011 International Strength Equipment Raffle has 50 prizes to be won, worth over £2000!

We have had EXTREMELY donations from major strength equipment manufacturers in the UK and US, as well as from some very kind individuals across the globe. The companies concerned are Watson’s Custom Strength Gym Equipment, Pullum Sports, Strength Shop, Vytal Nutrition, Z-Trainer, Ironmind, Diesel Crew, Legendary Strength, David Horne’s World of Grip, The Rotator.com, GripTraining.co.uk and Joe Roark’s Iron History.

Here are the items up for raffle:

53KG Cast Iron Circus Dumbbell with 60mm grip (Donated by Brian at Strength Shop)

Weider Pro Bench (Donated by Mark Richard at Icon Fitness)

There’s quite a bit more items up for raffle but I ran out of time…
