5-17-11: Hub Lifting

HUB LIFTING

Used my two 35lb plates for the hub attempts.  One has a shallow hub (1/2″ deep and 4″ diameter) and the other has a deeper hub (3/4″ deep and about 5″ diameter) so they are going to help me out with my hub training.  I did the attempts in the “claw style” – which is quite a bit different from how I normally hub 45lb plates – the “vbar style”. 

-35 – shallow hub – MISS-both hands

-35 – deep hub – MISS-both hands

-35 – deep hub – MISS-both hands

-35 – shallow hub – assisted with other hand – x1-both hands    

-35 – shallow hub – MISS-both hands

-35 – shallow hub – MISS-both hands
