Pretty crappy gripper workout today. Very tempted to not even report it. But I’m a firm believer in the bad workouts that you work through being the most helpful in the long run. So here it is in its entire crappiness.
-57lb Trainer for 5 reps-both hands, -81lb #1 for 5 reps-both hands, -110lb #2×1-both hands
-137lb #3×1-both hands *Notes: Slammed it shut both hands of course.
-151lb #3×1-both hands *Notes: Strong close lefty – and a 2-second hold shut. Right hand slammed it shut as usual too.
-165lb Narrow Super Elite-x1-right hand *Notes: Smashed it shut but I didn’t feel nearly as strong as I have been lately.
-175lb HG350-MISS-right hand *Notes: Missed by 1/16″. Just couldn’t finish it off. Hand felt dumb.
-169lb #3.5-MISS-right hand *Notes: Missed by 1/16″. Crap.
-166lb RB300x1-right hand *Notes: Closed and held shut for 2 seconds. Still felt weak though.
-169lb #3.5-MISS-right hand *Notes: Missed by a sliver. A sheet of paper wouldn’t have fit between the handles. But I still saw light on the video playback.
-165lb Narrow Super Elite-x1-right hand *Notes: Hard close – but held shut for 1 second.
