My last MMS gripper workout was pretty weak. It was exactly a week ago. This one mirrored that unfortunately.
-57lb Trainer for 10 reps-both hands, -81lb #1 for 5 reps-both hands, -110lb #2×1-both hands
-137lb #3×1-both hands *Notes: Slammed it shut both hands.
-151lb #3×1-right hand, -MISS-left hand *Notes: Strong close righty – and a 2-second hold shut. Missed by 1/16″ lefty.
-166lb RB300-x1-right hand *Notes: Hard close – had to review video just to make sure the handles touched solidly.
-168lb GNC300-MISS-left hand *Notes: Picked this up by mistake- thought it was the GNC250. Missed by 1/4″.
-169lb #3.5-MISS-right hand *Notes: Missed by a sliver. Had to review video because it was so close. A piece of paper wouldn’t fit between the handles.
-153lb GNC250-x1-left hand *Notes: Slammed it shut. Love this narrow gripper.
-169lb #3.5-MISS-right hand *Notes: Missed by a sliver again. Just couldn’t finish it off today. Very frustrating.
-159lb RB330N-MISS-left hand *Notes: Missed by 1/8″.
-169lb #3.5-MISS-right hand *Notes: Missed by 1/16″ this time.
Well it looks like it’s back to the old crappy MMS workout slump that I was in earlier this year. It’ll pass.
