10-15-11: TNS Grippers

10-15-11, Saturday


-Trainer-x5-both hands     Easy warmup.  Hands felt brittle and a bit weak.  Hoped this would go away in a few minutes but it stayed with me through the entire workout – although it did let up a bit near the middle of the workout.

-110lb #2×1-both hands    

***APPLIED DRY HANDS***     A nickel-sized glob – which has become my standard application size of Dry Hands.

-121lb GNC200x1-both hands     Felt easier than the #2.  Probably due to the Dry Hands.

-134lb Bone Crusher 300×1-both hands     Felt kind of hard on both hands. 

-137lb #3×3-right hand, -x1-left hand     Strong closes righty.  Barely got it lefty. 

-153lb GNC250x1-right hand, -MISS-left hand     Solid close righty.  Missed by 1/8″ lefty. 

-137lb #3×2-right hand, -x1-left hand     Solid closes on both hands.

-134lb Bone Crusher 300×5-right hand, -x2-left hand     Solid closes righty.  Thought I’d get more lefty though.

-121lb GNC200x10-right hand, -x4-left hand     Whoa!  This gripper got hard in a hurry.  Small handles are beastly when your hand really starts getting tired and sluggish. 

-110lb #2×7-right hand, -x3-left hand     My hands are shot!

All closes were done seated.  Might’ve milked a few more reps out of standing but I didn’t feel the desire or the need to. 

Next TNS workout I will set a timer and get as many reps as possible on a single gripper – either really easy or a moderate gripper.
