That about sums up my training for the past few weeks. No grippers on the right hand because of the ongoing forearm tweak that haunts me whenever I even close a Trainer. So I just stay away from grippers and for the most part it doesn’t rear its ugly head much in my other training.
Been doing more kettlebell snatching and am enjoying that immensely. Not up to any decent performances, but still doing me some good in the cardio department.
Modular Plateau Buster swings – usually the 2-hand variety – have been keeping me busy too. Not a lot of volume or frequency, just whenever I feel like doing them.
Did a Rolling Thunder workout last night and pulled 203lbs lefty – a 2lb all-time PR! Warmed up with 186lbs and it was the easiest 186lbs I’ve ever felt. Ripped it up both hands and then got about 2″ of air righty with bodyweight…213lbs. Soon that will rise and if I’m watching my diet – it means I’ll pull my first bodyweight Rolling Thunder lift.
