Broke my previous 2012 best 2-mile time by 51 seconds yesterday. Pretty happy with that! Wore my racing shoes. My left foot went slightly numb at the 1-mile mark and luckily didn’t get any more numb or it would’ve become dangerous.
Nose-breathed until the final 1/4 mile and then I opened my mouth to gulp air and ran the final 1/4 as hard as I could.
