Back in The Running Saddle

I ran 4 days before my USAWA Record Day contest and then rested after that so I wouldn’t jeopardize my shot at setting some records.  Had a week off from running and I’ve missed it.

Ran a mile yesterday.  Wore my new trail running shoes and nose-breathed the entire time.  Didn’t push the pace much – although it was taxing since I wasn’t breathing through my mouth.

10 minutes and 12 seconds.

Good to be running again.  Still not sure if I’m going to go for 5K distances soon or focus on shorter stuff to lean out more and go down another weight class in the USAWA comps…
