Back to Running


8-20-12, Monday

Finally got back to it yesterday.  Drove out to the track to do my running. 

  • Ran 100 Meters in 17.13 seconds. 
  • Rested 7 minutes.
  • Ran 100 Meters in 16.48 seconds.
  • Rested 11 minutes.
  • Ran 200 Meters in 38.46 seconds.  This is a 2012 Best by about 1.5 seconds. 
  • Rested 7 minutes.
  • Ran 400 Meters in 1 minute and 47 seconds. 

Bodyweight was 206lbs. 

While resting between runs I came up with a loose plan – or experiment – that I will go over soon.

Sciatica was definitely rearing its during this run.  From the beginning to the end.  Wasn’t able to run as hard as possible because it felt like one of my hamstrings was going to rupture.  Not sure if this was related to the sciatica but whatever.
