A few times a year it’s a good idea to turn your training upside down. Do the opposite of what you normally focus on. A dedicated Crossfitter should experience a few weeks of pure strength-oriented training each year. And a dedicated powerlifter should experience a few weeks of Crossfit training every year. It will inject some variety into your life and make you appreciate the type of training you spend most of your time on.
